The main reason her work has been highlighted in this project is due to her playboy covers.The style appropriates sexual imagery by adding a more informal style, reducing the sexual content tones. This style of art shows how illustration can be added or used to edit serious sexual imagery to remove the sexual explict nature but coving the imagery as well as change the over all tone.
The artists takes imagery that would be sex as sexual inappropriate by then add her own personal style to remove this tone by lightening the serious nature, adding elements humour and by removing the client serious tone. This shows how sexual imagery can be made appropriate due to tone, the tone of the piece changes and the over all effect of the image and impression it give the audience changes.
