After the client and the style of the poster have been decided small quick sketches for the item have been composed, this is so the idea can be visualised and show to a group to get feedback on which idea to take forward for this brief. Currently 3 main idea hev been explored but this need to be shorted down and developed into one idea for the brief, showing these to a crit will be the best way to find out which idea will work best for this brief.
content
product description - young and light, fresh, feminine
scent/ingredients - fruit, wild strawberry, red grapefruit, greenery, violet leaves, floral notes, gardenia, violet, jasmine, musk, vanilla and white woods
product imagery
product logo/design/bottle
tone
floral, modern, feminine, cute, delicate, young
style
type based, this is to the advert can be a desexiulised as possible whilst reflecting the products unique selling point
1)
feedback/which to take forward
1 seem the best suitable for a younger audience but will it fit with the clients branding?
Marc Jacobs is quit minimal therefore the posters should be too
idea 3 could work really well, it seems the most grown up/sophisticated and thats what the audience are looking for in their first perfume
the thinner type reflect sophistication and delicate nature more than the thicker bold in your afce type
include the daisy branding more
the bottle is a many selling point so highlight this
the top one might be too busy for the brand
the bottom two fit the style better
i prefer 2+3
4 works well but is it too simple
the bottle need to be included so the audience can look for the product in the shop
the top text in the last one doesn't fit
capitals seem to scary/intimated
the thin hand fluid type works well
i like the second one the most
ideas -
take forward idea 2+3, this is as the overall the feedback feedback that these felt the most sophisticated which is what the audience is aiming for. The feedback also agreed with the idea the bottle is a major selling point and is important therefore should be included in the poster in some way. The type need to be thin and delicate rather than thick and bold, this was felt as reflect the fresh free theme of the perfume more accurately. The client colour scheme branding and style should be included heavily in the poster for the next stage. Keep it minimal.
