COP3 - Practical - Idea Development YorkshireToATea

YorkshireToATea

After the final practical crit two idea where suggested to be taken forward and developed more, this was the YorkshireToATea filter campaign and the tea test campaign. Feedback was (if there is time) to develop both idea into print and physical version then to judge which to use as the final idea.

The crit agree that as the campaign have be built for digital design, social media platforms, the physical aspects may not be successful to exclude this the development of both will explore any potential issues . If one does not, the other idea should be taken forward.

DO THE IDEAS WORK AS PRINT/TV/BROADCASTING ADS?

FEEDBACK FORM THIS IDEA
-putting it on the box could be cool
-make a physical filter people can play with
-make a box or like text aspect, so people can apply it to pictures
-one of the idea that can't be changed as it's aware it will weird answers
-limited the audience to Yorkshire? not the whole of the UK
-good idea to make a social media aspect real, weird but cool
-good to involve the audience
-liked the idea but not the mock up
-good the audience control the advert, gives the a motive to post
-yeah like it giving you a reason
-i'd like my idea to be an advert
-change the style

NEW DESIGN SKETCHES

The idea is built around creating a social media sticker or filter, then producing this physically, this is so the audience can apply it to real life as well as on the social sites. It takes a popular social media trend, then applies it to the physical world.

AIMS -
ONE CLEAR MESSAGE
INTERGRATED TO THE DIFFERENT CHANNELS
REPRESENTS BRAND
INCLUDES SOCIAL LINK

too boring/obvious, looks too much like the logo

-cant read the second one
-very simple still
-doesn't link to humorous tone of campaign/too serious

-campaign title not very readable/too small
-doesn't link to campaign or brand
-takes up too much of the photo, would obstruct image too much

-bottom text needs work, fit on mug?
-use this as a sticker idea instead?

WORK BETTER AS A STICKER // USE THIS AS THE STICKER ASPECT

FILTER WORK-

-including more of the image create a strong connection to brand
-text looks to plain on it's own, needs a background or line

-enough space for image
-text is clear
-links to sticker design
-would work as a facebook sticker
-can clearly see back image
-logo is central, so very noticeable
-seem more informal/less serious
-stick to brands colours and styles

need feedback, which??
